Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications and services operated by EventFlow Experience, incorporated in the Province of Québec, Canada (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, purchasing tickets, publishing events or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" includes that organization.

2. The Services

EventFlow Experience provides an online platform that enables event organizers to create, promote and manage events, sell tickets, manage attendees and related operations, and enables attendees to discover events, register and purchase tickets.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the Services at any time. Where a change materially reduces core paid functionality, we will provide reasonable notice when practicable.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date account information.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 14 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
  • We may refuse, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the platform or other users.

4. Organizers

If you create or manage events on the platform, you are an "Organizer" and additionally agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for your events, content, pricing, capacity, entry rules and communications with attendees.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws, permits, tax and consumer-protection obligations related to your events.
  • You are responsible for your refund and cancellation policies and for honouring valid tickets issued through the Services.
  • You grant EventFlow Experience a licence to host, display and distribute your event content as needed to operate the Services.
  • You must not publish unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful content, or events that promote illegal activity.

5. Attendees & Ticket Purchases

When you purchase tickets or register for an event:

  • Your contract for the event itself is primarily with the Organizer, not EventFlow Experience.
  • Ticket availability, seating, access conditions and event-specific rules are set by the Organizer.
  • You must provide accurate attendee information required for registration or check-in.
  • Tickets may be personal and non-transferable unless the Organizer allows transfers.
  • EventFlow Experience provides the technology platform; we do not produce or host the Organizer's event unless expressly stated.

6. Payments, Fees & Refunds

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. By submitting a payment, you authorize the applicable charges, taxes and platform fees displayed at checkout.

  • Platform fees: EventFlow Experience may charge service, processing or credit-related fees as disclosed in the product or checkout flow.
  • Refunds: Refund eligibility is generally determined by the Organizer's policy and applicable law. Chargebacks and disputed payments may lead to account review.
  • Payouts: Organizer payouts depend on successful settlement, verification requirements and any holds needed to manage risk or legal compliance.
  • Taxes: You are responsible for applicable taxes unless we are legally required to collect them on your behalf.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for fraud, money laundering, unauthorized resale scams or ticket abuse.
  • Interfere with platform security, scrape data without permission, or reverse engineer the Services.
  • Upload malware, spam users, or attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits or payment flows.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.
  • Violate intellectual property, privacy, consumer or other applicable laws.

8. Intellectual Property

The Services, including software, branding, design and documentation, are owned by EventFlow Experience or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services as permitted by these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you upload, but you grant us the rights needed to host and display that content to operate and promote the Services. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant that licence.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate third-party tools (for example payment processors, maps, analytics or social login). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. EventFlow Experience is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EventFlow Experience will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or business interruption arising from your use of the Services or from Organizer events.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Québec or Canadian law, including liability for gross negligence or fraud where such exclusion is prohibited.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless EventFlow Experience and its officers, directors, employees and agents from claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your events, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Services.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification) will survive.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, courts located in the Province of Québec shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.

For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example by email or an in-product notice). Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
